A.I.R. Myoko is a boutique hotel lodge right on the ski slopes, thus entirely ski in and out. A.I.R. Myoko (AIR standing for Artists in Residence) AIR Myoko combines the aesthetics of a traditional Japanese ryokan with private onsen baths, along with western conveniences and comforts such as western beds, western style dining room, communal lounge and a focus on western facilities and the use of the English language. Featuring beautiful hand crafted Japanese cedar furniture with contemporary hand crafted pottery and artistic features throughout, it is a wonderful combination of East meets West.

Ski in and out but also very close to the main street only a few minutes away, where the cafes, bars and what not are to be found, a great location, although with few rooms they do book out very quickly with this property.

The food at A.I.R. Myoko is well known to be of a high caliber and has a strong emphasis on cuisine which is plant-based and offers both Japanese and Western breakfast options and there is even a 'degustation' tasting menu for evenings paired very well with tasty wines.

Meticulously thought out and the minimalist boutique styling sets a really welcoming feeling from the moment you enter the property. Rooming is Japanese in style, tatami flooring, low tables, sliding doors and expansive windows to take in the grandeur of the location being built between 2 ski runs. Bedding is thankfully western and the room sizes are notably spacious. A.I.R. also has on-site onsens, with traditional timber baths placed slopeside so you can take in the action swooshing around you.
