SKI JAPAN HOLIDAYS CUSTOMER BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING PROCESS
Bookings must be made by email to [email protected]. A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of the designated non-refundable deposit. Failure to pay the required deposit by the due date may result in automatic cancellation.
PRICING
All prices are in Japanese Yen and include Japanese consumption tax, service charges, hot spring tax & accommodation taxes where applicable. Prices can be subject to change without notice and may need to be re-issued if incorrect through error or omission. The customer accepts liability to pay the correct costs for services. Additional costs caused by weather, failure of transportation services or other circumstances beyond the control of Ski Japan Holidays are not included and must be covered by the guest.
PAYMENT
All payments must be made to Ski Japan Holidays by credit card, bank transfer or other specified by Ski Japan Holidays. All payment fees or transfer fees are the responsibility of the customer. At the time of the booking the payment method will be made known to the customer.
DEPOSIT PAYMENT
Once a booking has been confirmed to the guest by email, a 20% non-refundable deposit of the total package cost will need to be paid to Ski Japan Holidays within 7 days. Note some properties may require a deposit of more than 20%, within less than 7 days, and this will be advised to customer upon making the booking. Failing to meet the required deposit date may lead to an automatic cancellation of the booking. Bookings made within 60 days of the service date require immediate full payment, or as otherwise specified by the reservation consultant.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
The remaining balance or final payment is due 60 days prior to the service date. Note some properties may require a payment earlier than 60 days, and this will be advised to customer upon making the booking. Bookings made within 60 days of the service date require immediate full payment, or as otherwise specified by Ski Japan Holidays.
AMENDMENT FEES
Once a booking has been confirmed, changes are subject to an administration fee of 5,000 yen per amendment. Additional amendment fees may also be charged by suppliers, and these will be passed on to the customer. Examples of chargeable amendments, however not limited to decreases in number of guests, decrease in number of nights, changes to booking name, change to non-accommodation service.

Whereby accommodation providers and suppliers have stricter cancellation policies, those stricter terms will apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Group bookings (15 persons or more) may be subject to Japanese laws governing organized group travel. Payment schedules and cancellation policies may differ from individual bookings. If suppliers have stricter terms, those terms will apply and will be communicated to the group representative.
REFUND
Refunds will not be issued for unused accommodation, meals, lift passes, tours, or sightseeing excursions. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds will be deducted by the applicable transfer fees. If the refund amount is less than the transfer fee, no refund will be issued. Refunds are issued in Japanese Yen, and any foreign currency exchange fees are the customer’s responsibility.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
Upon receipt of full payment, travel documents will be sent via email. Electronic or printed hard copies of these should be always carried by the guest during the period of stay in Japan.
INSURANCE & VISAS
Comprehensive travel insurance, including winter sports coverage, is strongly recommended. We advise purchasing insurance at the time of booking to cover unforeseen events, including trip cancellation, ski resort closures, medical emergencies, and equipment loss or damage VISAS.
Ski Japan Holidays does not arrange or take responsibility for customer visa applications. Customers must ensure they meet Japan’s entry requirements before arrival.
Ski Japan Holidays does not arrange or take any responsibility for the customer’s visa application or acquisition. All visitors to Japan must research applicable visa requirements and make necessary arrangements prior to arrival.
LIABILITY
Ski Japan Holidays acts solely as a booking agent for providers of accommodation, transportation, ski services, and other activities. We are not liable for injury, loss, accident, delays, or irregularities outside our control. Suppliers operate as independent contractors and are not employees of Ski Japan Holidays.
Ski Japan Holidays cannot be held responsible for snow conditions, lack of snow, or extreme weather. No changes, cancellations, or refunds will be granted based on weather conditions.

We strive for accuracy in all website content, but Ski Japan Holidays is not responsible for errors, omissions, or changes in hotel amenities. Hotel photographs are provided by the properties, and actual conditions may vary. Maps on the website are for reference only and not to scale. Customers should verify all details independently before booking.
