The Corner House
With two recently renovated apartments, the Corner House provides a comforting stay in a great location in Nozawa. Just a short 5 minute walk to main street and central to everything. This is a small but very functional 2 story house right on the corner, located in the Shin-yu area next to Gochisou (specialises in Japanese cocktails, beers and sourdough pizzas). The shopping street, Oyu-dori, is only 3 minutes away by foot. The popular Shin-yu onsen is a minute’s walk away and is also only a 7 minute walk to the Yu Road the moving walkway escalator that carries you up to the slopes. An 11 minute walk to the Hikage Gondola.
On the ground floor it is set up as western style flat with separate shower and toilet and a western-style bedroom, sleeping up to 2 people and has a fully equipped galley kitchen and dining area. Then on the 2nd floor its a Japanese style flat with ensuite, again sleeps up to 2 people and has a fully equipped galley kitchen and dining area.
The accommodation is fitted with air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bidet, bathrobes and slippers. A toaster, a fridge and stovetop are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the apartment complex, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels.
As the corner house does not have a laundry guests can use the Shimataya Hotel directly across the road as well as utilize all of the hotels facilities, which really helps to compliment ones stay.
