James House
James House is a 5-bedroom house with traditional tatami rooms that can accommodate up to 15 people. It is split into a 4- and 1- bedroom house, which can be booked out separately or together. There are 3 twin bedrooms and 1 room large enough for 6 people in the main building (4BDR Carabrook) and a single bedroom which can occupy 3 guests in the Allenbrook (1BDR). The bedding is Japanese-style futons.
A good little house and for those who are looking for a well-priced budget level property capable of sleeping big groups of friends then this will work well. The house has a lounge area & well-equipped kitchen. Located in the Southern Village of Nozawa Onsen, just 5 mins walk to the Karasawa slopes of the Nozawa ski resort & 5 mins walk to town center and bus stop.
One of the twin bedrooms includes an ensuite toilet, then on the ground floor, there's a traditional Japanese hot bath and 2 common toilets. There is no car access during winter. There are 3 toilets in this house which can service the 15 occupants.
It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is also in a really good location, near the village and close to the ski resort.
