Akakura Park Hotel
Akakura Park offers affordable and comfortable accommodation close to the slopes, ideal for those looking to spend their holiday in the action of the snow. The hotel features a range of rooms, including Japanese, western and mixed-style rooms, perfect for all guests, all of which are fitted with entertainment, coffe/tea making facilities and heating for a comfortable stay. Some rooms are attached to ensuite bathrooms, while some only feature a toilet and basin.
Guests are also free to make use of the gorgeous, large indoor onsens, each of which looks out across incredible views of the landscape and features naturally heated and mineralized water. After thawing out in the onsen, guests can also make use of the in-house restaurant and bar in the hotel for some great Japanese cuisine. There's also a large communal lounge space that guests often use to relax and unwind, which is also where the hotel's free Wi-Fi is available.
The staff at the hotel are incredibly helpful, and there's plenty of them who also speak fluent English. They're more than willing to assist with travel plans and transport as well as ski lift passes and the like, not to mention keeping the hotel spotless and immaculately clean. Each of the rooms as well as the communal areas, while old, are very well kept and homely.
Skiers will be glad to hear the hotel also offers a large ski drying and storage room, and there's also extra storage space throughout the rooms for luggage and gear. They'll also be happy to hear Akakura Park is located only five minutes from a range of ski lifts, and those that are further are easy to get to with the staff's help. Guests will also enjoy the proximity to town, making exploring and experiencing Myoko's wonders easy.

The room is quite spacious and can sleep up to three people, and also features a small dining area and a television. There's some basic coffee/tea making facilities included, too, as well as a small seating area with some armchairs. Onsen & Spa
In-house Onsen
There are two large indoor onsens available for guests use at the hotel, each with a different temperature and slightly different atmosphere. Guests are also given a range of amenities to use, should they wish to use the onsen to bathe, as well as hair dryers and robes. The water in both of the onsens is naturally heated and mineralized, providing a perfect place to wind down and relax after a long day and each looks out through floor to ceiling windows across the incredible landscape surrounding the hotel.
