Restaurants & Nightlife

Furano has an appeasing selection of restaurants and bars, and with the help of the local shuttle bus, guests have access to a wide area of dining establishments.

Apart from the world class skiing, Furano is known for its fresh produce (and incidentally, lavender products), the focus on fresh local ingredients is evident. Restaurants employ locally grown produce to create healthy and satisfying dishes, no matter whether the menu is Japanese or continental cuisine.

Furano has even created its own dish – a combination of two Japanese favourites, sweet Japanese curry and omlette covered rice. Look out for the Furano Omlette Curry for a great lunch option, made with local ingredients, served with locally produced milk or juice, and priced within 1,000 yen.
