Furano - Ski Passes
Lift passes can be purchased ahead of time for guests staying at the Shin Furano Prince Hotels, and these will be handed to you at reception as you arrive. The Furano lift pass is for consecutive days, and covers night skiing when it is operational. For non-Prince guests, lift passes can be bought upon arrival at your hotel reception or at the ski resort ticket huts.
Advance booking for lift passes is only possible for guests who book Shin Furano Prince Hotel accommodation booking with Ski Japan Holidays. To book your lift tickets and accommodation, please contact Ski Japan Holidays.
Ikon Lift Pass
Furano Mountain Resort joined the Ikon Pass for the 2025/2026 season, offering Ikon Pass holders access for the winter. Ikon Pass holders receive 7 days of combined access at Furano Ski Resort, while Ikon Base Pass holders receive 5 days combined.
Ikon Pass holders: Get 7 days of combined access at Furano Mountain Resort, with no blackout dates.
Ikon Base Pass holders: Get 5 days of combined access at Furano Mountain Resort, with no blackout dates.
Ikon SESSION Pass holders: Do not receive access to Furano.
Access: You can use your Ikon Pass to go directly through the lift gates. If you have not yet received your pass, visit the lift ticket counter with your ID and pass details to get access.
The Ikon Pass from the 2025-2026 season in Japan can also be used at the following resorts:

Rhythm Japan Furano
• Rhythm Furano Flagsore Store coming in 2025. Located 170m from Kitanomine Gondola Station at 1,194sqm, the new Rhythm Furano will resemble the likes of Niseko flagship store Rhythm Hirafu, and like all of Rhythm Japan’s locations will offer winter and summer sports gear rentals, workshops, a cafe and other special activities and events
Ski & Board Lessons
Choose from two ski schools – Furano International Snowsports School and Furano Snow School. Both offer fantastic programs for your to improve your skiing and snowboarding under the guidance of qualified, English-speaking instructors.
Snowmobiling Tours
Exhilarating snowmobile tours through the beautiful snowy landscape is truly an unforgettable experience. Choose from a variety of different course lengths: 3km loop, 10km, 30km or 1 day course.
Backcountry Tours
Explore the endless powder around Furano Ski Resort, or take a day trip out to some of the areas deepest and lightest powder! Ski with professional, English-speaking guides who reside in Hokkaido all year long.
Snowshoe Tours
Experience the picturesque natural surrounds on a pair of snow-shoes; skiing experience not necessary! Your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you on a course through the gorgeous countryside, and be sure to keep an eye out for some of the furry locals!
