Winter Services in Sahoro
Sahoro - Ski Passes
Lift passes can be purchased both from the Sahoro Resort Hotel reception and the Gondola Station front desk, however only the resort guests can purchase from the resort. The lifts operate from 9 am until 6 pm Monday through to Saturday, obviously with weather and conditions being taken into account. There are a range of tickets available, ranging from 4 hour sessions through to family lift passes for groups of up to four people. There are discounts and specials available, too, including early season specials and packages including skiwear and equipment rental. A Sahoro season pass is available, too. For the full details and price list, please visit: Sahoro - Lift & Gondola Tickets
Ski & Board Rentals
The Sahoro Resort Hotel offers ski and snowboard rental to guests, as does the Gondola Station. However, the gear at both can be a little on the questionable side, with some items appearing aged. For the most part, though, the equipment is usable and functional – which is really all you need! The prices are also reasonable, which is an added bonus, with flexible arrangements and packages available. A full adult set for one day will set you back roughly 8,640 yen, extra discounts are also applied for extended rentals.
Ski & Board Lessons
Both ski and snowboard lessons are available at Sahoro, available through the Gondola Station reception. The lessons run in the morning, from 9:30 to 11:30 and in the afternoon from 12:45 to 2:45, but you’ll need to arrive a little earlier than this. Guests at the Sahoro Resort Hotel receive a 10% discount off the lesson price, too, and all prices include gondola use and lesson insurance. However, these lessons are run only in Japanese. The Club Med resort also offers group and children’s ski and snowboarding lessons in English, with skilled instructors, but you of course will need to make a reservation for this.
There are kid's lessons as well as intermediate-beginner adult’s lessons, and private lessons can also be arranged for an extra fee, with the time, level of difficulty and instructor all flexible. For the dedicated, members of the Sahoro Extreme Team season will receive special discounts for lessons as well as a season lift pass.
