Ski & Board Rentals
Naeba and Kagura have various options when it comes to rental equipment and Ski Japan Holidays can offer you a great selection of equipment ski and snowboard equipment. With the Viking Rentals in the Day Trip Ski Centre or Salomon Station offering all of their latest gear. Kagura offers two rental shops at Mitsumata Station and Tashiro Station, and backcountry equipment is available from Kagura Powder Station in the Mitsumata parking lot.
Guests staying at Naeba Prince Hotels have access to rental equipment within the hotel also. There are rental shops located in hotel Building 2, Building 4, and Building 6.

Ski & Board Lessons
Naeba is an excellent mountain on which to learn to ski, with a wide range of lessons available, including private ski and snowboard lessons in English. Naeba is also home to the world's first indoor and outdoor ski school for kids, called Pandaruman. Naeba is proud to offer the world's first indoor and outdoor ski program designed just for kids who have never skied before. Start off in the warm, safe indoor facility, and move on to the outdoor facilities once confidence and skill levels have improved. The Naeba Snow School offers Private Lessons and Private Group lessons in English. Reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of English instructors.

Backcountry Tours
Triforce offer fantastic guided backcountry tours in both English and Japanese on the Kagura mountains as well as the surrounding landscape. They run daily throughout the winter season and are a great way to safely explore the fantastic natural offerings of the region. They’ll cost around 11,000 Yen per person and must be booked in advance, and will require some basic skiing skill to undertake, but are well worth it!
Snowshoe Tours
Naeba Snow School also offers great snowshoe tours with Japanese and English guides that are suitable for the whole family and for any snow experience level. They’re great for getting out and enjoying the weather as well as the surroundings, and are a great activity for the whole family to do together. They must again be booked in advance, with reservations for English speaking guides very highly recommended during peak periods.
