LOTTE ARAI RESORT - Ski Passes
Arai is home to some of the greatest powder on the mainland. Get your tickets booked ahead of time along with your accommodation, so you waste no time in getting out to explore the unbeatable terrain. Ski Japan Holidays can arrange your lift tickets along with your accommodation, your consultant will remind you when you book your hotel.
Lift tickets are available for the following age categories:
- 19 to 59 years old
- Over 60 years old
- 7 to 18 years old
Young children 6 years and under are free of charge. Seniors' one day tickets are available on site, for those 60 years and over, however a pre-booked consecutive day adult ticket works out better value.
Ikon Lift Pass
Lotte Arai Mountain Resort joined the Ikon Pass for the 2025/2026 season, offering Ikon Pass holders access for the winter. Ikon Pass holders receive 7 days of combined access at Lotte Arai, while Ikon Base Pass holders receive 5 days combined.
Ikon Pass holders: Get 7 days of combined access at Lotte Arai Mountain Resort, with no blackout dates.
Ikon Base Pass holders: Get 5 days of combined access at Lotte Arai Mountain Resort, with no blackout dates.
Ikon SESSION Pass holders: Do not receive access to Lotte Arai.
Access: You can use your Ikon Pass to go directly through the lift gates. If you have not yet received your pass, visit the lift ticket counter with your ID and pass details to get access.
The Ikon Pass from the 2025-2026 season in Japan can also be used at the following resorts:

The Salomon Station ski and snowboard rental shop is located at the Village Station. You will find a huge range of skis, snowboards, ski boots, and ski wear available for rent, and unparalleled expert fitting advice.
With a full range of accessories such as helmets, gloves and high-end ski and snowboard models and demo equipment for the more advanced riders.

Lotte Arai Resort Lessons
Myoko Snow Sports is Arai resort's official International Ski School partner, and brings expert experience and professional instructors with a wealth of knowledge of the local area.
Depending on your groups needs and ability levels, you may like to choose private or group lessons. Group lessons are available only for children across five skill levels, and two age categories. There are no adult group lessons. But, there are private lessons, which offer personally tailored programs to meet your goals, and can cater for up to 4 people per instructor.
Experience some of the most diverse freeride and powder terrain in Japan.
