Kiroro Getting Around
All you need is within the Kiroro Resort complex – bars, restaurants, souvenirs, snacks and entertainment. A shuttle between the Sheraton Hotel and the Kiroro Tribute runs every 10-30 minutes or so, from 6:40am to 11:40pm.
A complimentary shuttle runs into Otaru town (40min drive) where you can spend a day exploring the quaint town, colonized as a trade and fishing port and famous for glass products. Otaru is also where you will find the closest ATM facility.
Kiroro ATMs, Bank & Cash
Whilst international credit cards are widely accepted for payment at Kiroro Resort, there is no ATM in Kiroro Resort. You will need to go to Otaru town, which is accessible by complimentary shuttle bus from the hotel however it is best to set aside a day trip for this.
Kiroro Shopping
Kiroro Town offers a sizeable and well stocked souvenir shops, you'll be sure to find the perfect gift to take home to loved ones. The shop also carries ski accessories in case you forget one or it goes missing. There are convenience stores in both hotel lobbies which stock everything from souvenirs and gifts to snacks and alcohol.
Kiroro Onsen Guide
Kiroro Resort houses two bath complexes. Kiroro Town at Tribute Hotel offers access to the Japanese style outdoor bath Kirin No Yu. The outdoor, modern heated onsen-style pool is set amongst some incredible landscape so that you can unwind while taking in the incredible scenery. In Sheraton Hotel you will find Tokiwayu, a cosy and comfortable bath which looks out across beautiful landscapes and is an ideal location for anyone looking to relax and unwind. There is an outdoor hot tub as well as a cold water bath and sauna for all guests – ideal after a long day in the snow.
Kiroro Town offers all guests a wonderful day spa service, providing treatments ranging from aromatherapy to massage. The massage therapists are expert professionals and are entirely dedicated to helping you achieve that little slice of relaxation you’re after.
An afternoon here is great to pair with a dip in the public onsen – you’ll definitely feel refreshed and relaxed after some indulgent pampering here.
