If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful ski holiday, look no further than the Wadano Forest Hotel, aptly named for its forest surrounded location in Wadano area of Hakuba. The 20 western rooms all have a private bathroom ensuite, and are spacious and well-appointed rooms with large windows allowing in plenty of natural light. Choose from twin, double, triple or quad rooms.
The hotel is located 500 metres to the Sakka slopes of Happo One resort, and the closest bus stop is 100 metres away. Buses stopping here will take you to Hakuba 47 resort allowing access to the interconnected 47, Goryu and Iimori ski resorts.
You will be served a filling continental breakfast, which will get you ready for a big day on the slopes. Then be welcomed back on your return to the hotel in the afternoon and take time to warm up and rejuvenate in the onsen baths, separated into male and female bathrooms. At night, try any one of the restaurants around the hotel within walking distance or hop on Hakuba's night liner and explore more of what this atmospheric town has to offer.
This hotel is a good value moderate grade property, which has been very well maintained and offers comfortable lodging for families or friends, let the peaceful surrounding forest and warming hot springs wash away your worries.
