Sugarpot
Sugarpot is an old traditional chalet renovated to suit western travellers. While it has been renovated to have a contemporary air, all effort has been paid to retaining the comfortable cosiness expected of a cottage. The house is bright and airy, full of large windows and completed with high, lofted ceilings, and dark natural timber has been used throughout to convey a sense of customary homeliness. To complement this, the furniture has been chosen with the comfort of guests in mind, all being designed to provide maximum cosiness and ultimate relaxation.
The house is located in a quiet area bordering Middle and Upper Hirafu village, meaning all guests will be treated to the privacy and spaciousness of their own home. The ski shuttle is located a short walk from the house, opening up a wide range of options for entertainment and dining and, of course, skiing. The house features five bedrooms with a range of bedding configurations alongside stunningly fitted living areas, making it ideal for both groups of friends or large families. The modern amenities in the house and its serene and inviting atmosphere also mean that it's an ideal location for an extended Niseko stay.

The house is split over three levels to provide ultimate spaciousness, and begins underground with a cosy basement featuring a heated and secure ski storage/drying area - music to a ski enthusiast's ears. This sits next to a large media room, which features a complete home theatre system as well as comfortable couches and is removed from the communal living areas - music to a move enthusiast's ears. This is also a great addition for the groups who will be having children, as it will create a separate area for them to play and relax while parents can do the latter without interruption.The second level of the house features a large open plan living space, the feature of which is the 14-seater dining area. This means that not only does Sugarpot comfortable sleeps 10, but can actually accommodate them. Beside this is the fully equipped kitchen, which features state of the art appliances as well as plenty of prep space. On the other side of the dining area is a lounge space, featuring another LCD television alongside stunningly large and comfortable sofas. There is also another small dining space here, which could double as a work desk. This space is huge, providing more than enough space for the entire group to comfortably relax, and you could easily entertain without being cramped as well.
All but one of the bedrooms are located on the third floor of the apartment, with one of the bunk bed rooms is on the second. There are three bedrooms that feature double or single bedding configurations - one of which includes two (or four singles) in the one room, as well as two bunk beds rooms. Each is spacious and includes large windows for overlooking the natural landscape of Niseko as well as a small amount of storage space. There are three and a half bathrooms in the house, two of which are located on the third floor, one ensuited to the master bedroom and one on the second level for guests. These are all fitted with modern amenities and sleek design that follows on from the rest of the house.
