Hotel Moegi's best feature is its almost ski-in-ski-out location, straight off Happo and you can ski to virtually the front door, this just makes everything so much easier. Only a 2 to 3-minute ski or walk to the ticket office and access up onto the gondola first thing in the morning and then ski home.
Located in the Happo Village and also virtually on the mountain, the Moegi's location is prime and gives you the opportunity to walk to many of the places you will want to go with complete freedom and ease. The Evergreen Ski School is only but a short walk up the road and down the road, you have the Happo gondola, restaurants, cafés, hot springs and the list goes on...
It is a smaller hotel located on the slopes of Happo One, the hotel comprises of only 15 rooms. The property itself is a very clean, comfortable and all in all a charming hotel, that the owners pride themselves in making sure your every need is well catered to and looked after.
It is assigned the 3-star level of hospitality rating. Along with all ensuited rooms, Moegi also features large public baths, which are a plus, but unfortunately not onsen with thermal qualities, just hot water. The baths are just perfect after a strenuous day on the slopes and then relax in their comfortable lounge by the fireplace and why not enjoy their electric massage chairs and watch the winter wonderland from your cozy location.
There are some very comfortable rooms, some of which have mini kitchens and set up in a way so that you can self-cater and cook for yourselves should you desire it. With colorful new modern décor in the rooms with double and single bed options, these rooms are great and very comfortable for guests.
The hotel has nice mountain views of Happo, Hakuba's premier ski mountain and home to the 1998 Winter Olympics. This property works very well for groups and individuals alike, the service levels are excellent as charming Japanese hosts welcome guests with true Japanese hospitality. The natural beauty of the area in which it is located, great hosts and comfy rooms make this a good well priced property for all of your Hakuba lodging needs.
