Cocoa
Despite its name, Cocoa is an incredibly bright and airy three bedroom family-orientated home, split over two levels and situated in the Lower Hirafu Village area. Nestled amongst the trees, the house is subject to plenty of peace and quiet, as well as lawn space in the summer, yet is not far from surrounding shops and restaurants as well as the landmark Yokoro Onsen. The house is situated almost at the foot of a ski shuttle stop, too, meaning that all of Niseko's ski lifts are the fingertips of ski enthusiast guests.
Traditional Japanese architecture mixed with a chalet-inspired use of natural timber describes the interior of the house well, exuding both homeliness and comfort but contemporary and luxury design at the same time. The house is equipped with western style appliances as well as plush and comfortable furniture to ensure guest's cosiness, but the incorporation of Japanese elements lends the house a touch of orientalism ideal for anyone with an interest in the culture. The high, lofty ceilings combined with the neutral colours and accents of wood throughout the house create an inviting and warm atmosphere that guests will fall in love with and have difficulty parting at the end of their luxurious stay.
