Rusutsu - Ski Passes

Electronic lift passes at Rusutsu offer fast, efficient, hands free access. Consecutive day lift passes at Rusutsu include night skiing when operational and end on 5pm of the last day. Book your lift tickets through Ski Japan Holidays along with your Rusutsu North & South Wings or The Westin Rusutsu accommodation, and you will be handed the lift ticket upon arrival at the hotel ready for you to start skiing. Currently these lift passes cannot be booked separately without an accommodation booking, please contact Ski Japan Holidays if you would like any more information.

Ski & Board Rentals

Rentals are available in both Westin and North/South Wing hotel, storing a huge array of good quality Salamon and Atomic equipment, staff will ensure you leave with well-fitted gear that meets your needs.

Ski & Board Lessons

Rusutsu Resort offers a number of lesson types with friendly English-speaking instructors. The knowledge and certified instructors will show you the best of the slopes whilst offering personalised, helpful advice and tips.

Private Lessons: Starting 10:00 or 13:30
Evening Lesson: 16:30 – 17:30
Night Lesson: 18:00 – 19:30

Snowmobiling Tours

Keen to try your hand at snow mobiling? Already done it and want to go tour the breath-taking country side Rusutsu has to offer? Head over to the snow activity land to meet the dedicated snow mobile team and choose the course that suits your level and interests.

Snowshoe Tours

Allow the friendly guides to show you some of the most picturesque and enjoyable snow shoeing paths. If you are looking for a great alternative to the traditional snow-shoe, "rambler" skis are available, short skis with grippy base, no ski experience necessary.

Other Activities

Other fun outdoor activities include dog sledding, ice fishing, air boarding, and horse back riding. Fun for friends and families alike, create memories to cherish for many years to come.

Sometimes you just want to have a day inside and take it easy in the warmth of the hotel. Have a go at the various crafts on offer – glass fusion, leather work, climbing rope accessory, baking. Want something a little bit more active? There's the climbing wall, bouldering, gym, hot springs, massage and shopping.
