Appi - Ski Passes

Lift passes are available at very reasonable prices when booked together with accommodation through Ski Japan Holidays. You will be handed lift pass upon check in if you have pre-purchased, otherwise please purchase lift passes on site at the Appi Resort Centre or Appi Plaza.

2024-2025 Lift Ticket Pricing, inclusive of tax.

Adults @ 7,000yen per day (+500 yen deposit for the physical card, refunded upon return of the card) Children 12yrs and under: FOC (+500 yen deposit)

Black and Gold lift tickets are available with various privileges, such as priority boarding of the gondola. However, we do not handle such tickets. These upgrades can be handled on-site upon arrival.

These lift passes cannot be arranged without accommodation booked through Ski Japan Holidays. Please contact Ski Japan Holidays and we will arrange your lift passes to be waiting for you on arrival.

Ikon Lift Pass

Appi Kogen Mountain Resort joined the Ikon Pass for the 2025/2026 season, offering Ikon Pass holders access for the winter. Ikon Pass holders receive 7 days of combined access at Appi, while Ikon Base Pass holders receive 5 days combined.

Ikon Pass holders: Get 7 days of combined access at Appi Kogen Mountain Resort, with no blackout dates.

Ikon Base Pass holders: Get 5 days of combined access at Appi Kogen Mountain Resort, with no blackout dates.

Ikon SESSION Pass holders: Do not receive access to Appi Kogen

Access: You can use your Ikon Pass to go directly through the lift gates. If you have not yet received your pass, visit the lift ticket counter with your ID and pass details to get access.

The Ikon Pass from the 2025-2026 season in Japan can also be used at the following resorts:

Ski & Board Rentals

Rental equipment can be hired at the Appi Plaza. Choose from a range of well kept Atomic and Salomon equipment, or opt to demo the latest models. For your convenience, a wide range of helmets, goggles, and accessaries are available to complement your ski or board gear.

Ski & Board Lessons

The Appi ski school offers English spoken ski and snowboard lessons with a private instructor, as well as English group ski lessons. Book ahead of time to ensure you secure your lesson with an English-speaking instructor.

Backcountry Tours

Enjoy untouched lines of snow with the organized back country tour accompanied by a professional guide. Available to those 13 years and over who have experienced back country once before already. Bookings must be made 3 days prior to tour date, so make sure to plan ahead!

Snowshoe Tours

Snow shoeing is a must try experience, see new scenery not witnessed from regular slopes, look out for wild animals, and use different muscles to skiing and snowboarding. Available on a first come first served basis for anyone 5 years or older.
