Flights to Japan

Japan is easily accessible with a multitude of direct and indirect flights from all over the world. Please check the various airline websites below to see what types of flights and services each carrier provides.

The most popular and convenient airports to fly into are Narita and Haneda Airports in Tokyo; other airports include Kansai International Airport in Osaka, and Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya.

From Haneda and Narita Airports, a shuttle service is available for the biggest Nagano and Niigata Ski Resorts: Hakuba, Nozawa Onsen, Shiga Kogen, Myoko Kogen, and Madarao. Shared taxis and private taxis are also available for advance reservation.

Other ski resorts on the main island of Honshu can be easily accessed by a combination of bullet train and bus or taxi.

The top island of Hokkaido’s main entry point is New Chitose Airport, and whilst most direct flights are from nearby Asian countries, it can be easily reached from other countries further afield by transit at one of these hub airports in Asia. From New Chitose Airport, a reliable shuttle bus service accesses six of the most ski resorts around Hokkaido.
