Hotel Taiko Myoko
Hotel Taiko is a beautiful Japanese style hotel located in the upper village of Akakura Onsen within easy walking distance of the slopes. Choose from large Japanese or Western style rooms (with Japanese décor), all with ensuite bathrooms. The onsens are gorgeous and the outdoor onsens offer particularly lovely views.
With a mixture of Japanese, Western and Japanese Western Combination Rooms available where most share very good clean splendid mountain views. Wi-Fi throughout.
At Taiko Hotel, guests can enjoy Mt. Myoko views from the outdoor hot spring baths, get a relaxing massage or purchase souvenirs at the gift shop. Drinks vending machines, lockers and barbecue facilities can be found on site as well.
A variety of traditional Japanese style meal featuring local, seasonal produce is served for dinner with large open variety western and Japanese breakfasts on offer. while a buffet of western and Japanese dishes is available for breakfast.
Hotel Taiko Myoko is only 140 meters from the main street of Akakura Onsen where there are lots of restaurants. Well positioned in the Akakura Onsen village (the main village) of Myoko Kogen and rooms offer great mountain views. A good choice and with lots of rooms on offer its a really enjoyable property to stay at whilst riding the awesome snow in Myoko Kogen.
