Nestled between Happo and Hakuba 47, you will not be far from anything during your stay in Hakuba. 36 Degrees North has an attentive staff, all of whom are equipped with a great deal of knowledge about the Hakuba Valley and its countless opportunities. Staying here, you will be well fed and looked after. When you're ready to hit the mountains, you'll be heading out with a clear mind and a full stomach.
The inside of this lodge is cozy, warm and welcoming: the quintessential snow lodge. With a beautiful central fireplace, comfortable surrounding lounges, an impressive staircase, and walls adorned with some amazing photography, this lodge highlights the best that Hakuba has to offer. Step outside, and you will be greeted by the sound of running water from the two mountain streams flowing through the property, and enjoy peaceful views of the snow falling through the surrounding forest. Owner and operator, Mark Donaldson, is a well-known professional photographer. He has spent many years documenting the beauty of this amazing area with his cameras.
For a great price, and with lots of warm laughter and banter, this lodge is a memorable place to stay.
